Which meant that when all the shenanigans with the hacking, misfiring started to occur, with Will's luck, the damn picture went out into the public. ]

[ For the most part, when Hannibal made his gracious offer, Will was biting his tongue and aside from stalking the replies keeping his mouth shut. He knew all too well that if he tried to interfere, particularly when Hannibal was being his most charming, it would only backfire, and spur Hannibal to retaliate.

It was a very fine line to walk. Allowing Hannibal agency with the knowledge of what the man was capable of, but also aware that trying to 'salt the Earth' would only serve to bring rise to the Ripper in all his glory.

But when he saw Cable respond Will wrestled with himself before giving in and taking the time to establish a line of private communication. ]

Be careful in how you choose to engage Dr. Lecter. He is very skillful at getting inside your mind, in ways you may not be aware of until it's too late.

What, exactly, do you think he's going to do to me?

[ It's an honest question, not particularly defensive despite Cable's gruff tone. He does want to know if Will is being overly-cautious or if he's playing with fire. He knows for a fact that working with Magneto is already playing with fire, so it's not a deterrent, but it's good to know what he's getting into. ]

At the moment, I just need a Dominant sponsor. I've gone as far as I can as a submissive.

But if you have thoughts on the idea, if there are things you find yourself wanting to say to people as we meet with them, I encourage you to speak up. I've had good response from the government officials I have been allowed to speak with directly.

Perhaps I am foolish but I hope that if this works, there will be others who would like to continue with work like this. If there are, perhaps you'll aid them going forward.

I wouldn't mind explaining to them that a happy captive is a calm one who's easier to control. We're being held by morons. Maybe this would work on their population, but most of us aren't going to lie down and take it. Mostly, they're just pissing us off.
